PRIVACY, ANALYTICS AND ADVERTISING MEASUREMENT

This website uses optional Google Analytics and Meta Pixel measurement to understand website visits and the effectiveness of Facebook and Instagram advertising.
Neither Google Analytics nor the Meta Pixel loads until a visitor chooses “Allow tracking / Leyfa mælingar.” If tracking is rejected, the website continues to work and optional measurement remains off. The choice is saved on the visitor’s device and can be changed at any time using the “Privacy settings / Persónuvernd” button.
When consent is given, Google Analytics may receive information such as pages viewed, referral source, browser and device information, approximate location derived from the internet connection, scrolling, outbound-link clicks and other website interactions. We use this information in aggregated reports to understand traffic and improve the website. Google advertising storage, ad-user-data and ad-personalization signals are disabled in this implementation. We do not send the contents of mailing-list forms to Google Analytics.
When consent is given, Meta may receive information such as the page visited, browser and device information, approximate location derived from the internet connection, and selected website actions. On this site, those actions can include opening a concert ticket link. We use this information to measure and improve advertising for Thor Breidfjord’s music, concerts and related work. We do not send the contents of mailing-list forms through the Meta Pixel.
The legal basis for optional analytics and advertising measurement is consent. Consent can be withdrawn at any time through the privacy-settings button. Withdrawing consent stops future Google Analytics and Meta Pixel measurement on this site.
Google Ireland Limited processes Google Analytics information according to Google’s privacy terms and controls. Meta Platforms Ireland Limited processes information received through Meta Business Tools according to Meta’s privacy terms and controls. Information may be processed outside Iceland or the European Economic Area using the providers’ applicable transfer safeguards.
Embedded YouTube videos use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain. Other services opened through external links, including ticketing and streaming services, operate under their own privacy policies.
Mailing-list information is used to send the updates requested by the subscriber and is handled separately from website analytics and advertising measurement.
